• Unaware of his owner’s death, Hachiko continued to wait at the station for his return.

• Local townspeople cared for Hachiko, feeding him and ensuring he was okay.

• But Hachiko never stopped waiting... and waiting... and waiting.

• Hidesaburō never came home.

• Hachiko remained loyal, waiting at the station daily until he died in 1939.
